Beating your Inner Bully

“If you exercised more, then maybe you wouldn’t look like a bowl of jelly”…

I used to look in the mirror and constantly hate on myself…

It wasn’t aware I was doing it…

“Look at your wonky teeth, you’re ugly”.

“You’ve put on weight…again, why can’t you be more disciplined with food”.

It was quite shocking when I first started noticing it.

(Although some of my taunts also cracked me up - harsh and impressive) 😂

So I started looking in the mirror and being grateful for my body and all it allows me to do.

- For eyes and ears that allowed me to see and hear what’s going on

- For a healthy heart, that makes everything work

- For legs that carry me around the world

- For arms that allow me to hug family and friends…and put peanut M&M’s into my mouth, (essential!)

Everytime I looked in the mirror, I’d say thank you for this magnificent eco-system that allowed me to experience life in the best possible way.

And after doing that consistently, I noticed my inner chat starting to change.

And now I can say I totally love myself. 💛

I couldn’t be more chuffed that I’ve got this body, this face, this heart and this mind.

I’m a walking miracle!

And so are you 😍

We are so much more than these ‘body suits’.

We can put too much focus on what’s ‘wrong’ with our bodies, rather than the magic that’s happening within, just so we can have a day to day experience of life.

When you start to love the skin you’re in, you’ll discover your magnificence goes way beyond the surface.

You’re a 10. There’s no one like you on the planet. 💎
